1850's Mormon Hutch built by Brigham Young for sale in Mill Valley, California

This cabinet was developed from Utah yearn by hand in Salt Lake City Utah in the 1850's by Brigham Young for his spouse Emily Partridge Smith Young. My fantastic fantastic grandmother was a plural partner of Joseph Smith, creator of the LDS church. After Joseph was killed Emily married Brigham and made the trip west with him. This cabinet has been in my family for 160 years. However I have no space for it as I now stay in a studio apartment.

I have not refinished this cabinet. Hutch has 3 layers of paint with the first initial coat of light green territorial base coat still undamaged. Draws replaced long ago. Ready for restoration.

There is a sibling cabinet received a picture right here, which is found in Brigham Young's Farm House, once across from Liberty Park now transferred at Pioneer park in Salt lake City. Utah.

My granny Naomi Young Spence was the little girl of Don Carlos Young, and Brigham's granddaughter. Revealed in the photo with her granny Emily. I inherited the hutch from my mother Alice Spence Counter. Recorded Provenance is offered on request.
